Full Moon and New Moon Women's Circles

The Art of Birthing Center is excited to be hosting Kerry Stewart's New Moon and Full Moon Circles:

With each Moon cycle, we are called together to harness Her beautiful feminine energy to realign with Self. Through communal gathering, we have an opportunity to shift into and celebrate the current energetic themes the position of the Moon brings. Kerry will guide us through intentional meditation + healing and give astrological insight as she grants us permission to nourish the Mother within ourselves. We will collectively hold space for our sisters as we reflect inward to inspire our minds, open our hearts and restore our physical bodies. Bring a journal + pen to set intentions and manifestations.

Kerry Stewart has experience working with new mamas and babies as a Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN. Inspired by the birth of her first born, she is now channeling her knowledge, passion, and first-hand experience into unifying women to facilitate healing and empowerment. Her desire is to liberate the mother and give tools to navigate her journey of motherhood through Astrology, spiritual growth, and community support. Her unique techniques and events invite you as the mother to show up for herself in order to show up for her high-valued family.

Placenta preparation

Placenta preparation

Many women choose to have their placenta prepared in order to assist in their recovery postpartum. The results vary from each individual, however, and we cannot guarantee specific results as with any herbal protocol. However, some feedback we have received indicates that it has a tremendous impact on energy levels, feelings of strength and overall well-being, strengthened immune system, restored sex drive, increased milk supply, emotional balancing, halting hair loss, and restoring blood hemoglobin levels back to normal.

Doula Registry

Doula Registry

The word “doula” comes from the ancient Greek term meaning “a woman caregiver of another woman.”

A Doula is a person who has education and experience assisting women through the childbirth process. The best Doulas provide emotional support and physical comfort measures during labor and child delivery. We, with our best Doula services, will also help with positioning and movement, which assists in the descent of the baby and pain management for the mother. The best Doulas pay special attention to the woman during labor and will not leave them during the time of baby birth. Doulas are also aware of the memories that a woman will carry with her the child birth experience and promote a positive child birth experience.

Postpartum Doulas

Art of Nursing Care, Inc. / Art of Birthing Center Postpartum doulas are women who provide educational and physical support in the home after the birth of your child or children. We provide emotional, physical and breastfeeding support along with practical newborn care. In addition we can assist you in taking care of necessary household tasks such as: grocery shopping; meal preparation, doing the dishes, laundry or tending to the older children. Our postpartum Doulas help ease the transition into motherhood.
